WHAT IS ELDER HOME SHARE?
We provide peace of mind for elderly citizens to continue to live at home by matching them with responsible, kind, reference-checked accommodation seekers 'home share companion'. Companions provide companionship and support in exchange for a place to live. With monthly check-ins, a trial live in month, and reference checks, your loved one is in safe hands.
Elder Home Share was founded in 2015 by Saoirse Sheridan, a Social Entrepreneurs Ireland Awardee. As a mature student of entrepreneurship and psychotherapy, she was struggling to find affordable accommodation. Having grown up with many fond memories of her own much-loved grandmother living in the family home, the idea for Elder Home Share took shape. We are Irelands most cost effective home share service for older homeowners and are excited to bring Elder Home Share to Northern Ireland.

"I would certainly recommend Elder Home Share's service. My mum has a lovely companion living with her, and this has allowed mum to be safe and supported at home. The companion brings great life to the house, and we trust her completely. Any communication I have had with Elder Home Share has been really supportive and super helpful. My family and I are delighted we found this great service" - Katie, January 2021
WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY
"I just want to thank Elder Home Share for their wonderful help in finding a companion and setting up the companionship for my aunt. Their trusted, awarded and very professional service gave us peace of mind. Saoirse has always acted very professionally and has made herself available to us throughout the process and has listened and respected us at every step, all the time. I would highly recommend this companion service to other families with elderly relatives. Thank you again." - Ronan, Dublin
